If you prefer a larger capacity bottle, don’t worry, because the screw cap lid is interchangeable with Nalgene and many other wide-mouth bottles.Both the purifying lid and the extra lid include a loop, so that you can easily secure the bottle with a carabiner, a bungee cord, or a clip on your pack, then you don’t have to worry about dropping it or losing it.The purifying operation is pretty simple. Just press the button on the cap for three seconds and the UV purifying cycle begins. The display screen, with large easy-to-read numbers does the countdown. After 90 seconds the water is ready to drink.After 10 days and repeated use, the battery-charge indicator on my screen still showed a ¾ charge, which is impressive. That means I should be good for several days in the backcountry without having to worry about recharging. When it does come time to recharge the battery, a USB charging cable is included which fits nicely with my plan to limit the number of chargers and cables I carry around with me.The LED light is a great bonus feature. The light’s on/off switch is the same button you use for purifying. The LED light has both an “on” mode and an SOS flashing mode.On balance, and considering all the features, functionality, and smart design, this bottle is a great value, and one I look forward to using for a long time to come.
