This book has been a great resource to expand conversational listening as well as reading. Over the last year, I’ve spent a lot of time trying to get a strong foundation of French verb conjugation and building vocabulary. I feel like every dialogue in this book has been great for pushing my ability to use French to the next level. I was able to read about 85% to 90% of each dialogue without any issue. That extra 10% to 15% of vocabulary that I needed made learning so much more valuable. I will definitely be purchasing more books from this company to continue to work on my French language abilities. I definitely recommend this book for others at an intermediate French level, who have the confidence to read and learn by themselves.

A very useful and enjoyable book to supplement other French resources such as language apps, videos, and hand written exercise books.

I immediately purchased this product from Lingo Mastery because I have enjoyed all of their previous books, both French and Spanish.I will say I have not finished this book as I'm trying to work through the Short Stories for Beginners and the 2000 Common Phrases, but my initial review looks very promising.I'm trying to re-learn my French from long ago, and I've found that Lingo Mastery does a good job of keeping learning on topic. I've also gotten a few Audible books, which have enhanced the learning.

This a practical painless way for me to review French. I like the short dialogues for when I have a few minutes to practice my French skills. Very satisfied

My primary issue with the book is that it does not mimic spoken French. The most obvious one is using the “nous” form instead of “on”. In conversation the nous form isn’t really used. Maybe in the news. Since the book is supposedly “conversational” French, I am giving it three stars.The English translations need some work but as an English speaker I really didn’t mind.You can definitely learn from this resource. But I would exercise caution and take what you learn with a grain of salt. The language used really isn’t natural. It’s google translate/textbook French.

This book provides a wonderful resource for a wide variety of French language conversations. The conversation is first presented in French and there is also the translation in English. As I read through the conversations, I am trying to keep to the French side only as a way to help improve my knowledge of this language. I am also reading the conversations out loud to help with language retention. I hope an audio version, such as through Audible, of this book will be made available. Hautement recommandé !

If you are at B1 and looking for improving vocab, it is the right book to allow you to absorb vocab by theme and in natural context such as talking about computer hardware or gardening tools. It adopts the situation-based learning approach and covers a variety of expressions under each theme to make sure that when learners talk about a theme with a friend, they can hold the conversation in more depth. For instance, in the theme of computer, it would be knowing the expressions of mother board, graphic card, and RAM; in the theme of gardening, it would be knowing how to say spade, fertilizer, and mow the lawn. Words are introduced in context to help learners build the vocab network. Ideal to transition from B1 to B2

Good book, to learn French. There are some short stories, from casual live, so it's useful. Stories getting more advance in later chapters which is nice.

The content covers a lot of modern day conversations and situations which I enjoyed.In my opinion it allows you to learn the language faster particularly when using it with the audio.Initially I found myself trying to learn every word. After a while I realised learning phrases was the way forward and sped up my learning. Looking forward to using the other products in German and Spanish. It would be nice to have an Italian version too as this is also a language I’m studying.

この本は仏語会話メインなので、逆に仏語から英語が見られるかな、と購入しました。時間があるときパラパと読んで、その目的はある程度楽しみながら満たされたことは確かです。仏語で育ち、欧米で英語と仏語で金融ビジネスマンでしたが、ここまでの英語や仏語は必要が無いと思うほどの高いレベルで、ビジネスに向もいていないようです。旅行用会話としても、簡単ではなくあまり実用的ではありませんが、少々込み入った話が好きな方には向いているかもしれません。使い方かもしれませんが、一体どんな方に向いているのか、判断しにくい本です。日本人で使われる方なら、ある程度英語と仏語のレベルが要求されます。それもかなり高い。とにかく初心者向けではありません。両方でよくできる方なら結構楽しめるかとは思います。
