Style Name:10-Inch | Design:Mattress | Size:Twin XL Classic Brands Serena Pillow Top Innerspring 10-Inch Mattress is constructed with tempered steel wrapped innerspring coils that improve the mattresses durability and longevity. The Classic innerspring mattress is an excellent value for a supportive and undisturbed sleep for years to come. The 10-inch profile Pillow-Top Innerspring Mattress has the ultimate support of a wrapped steel coil innerspring at the right price! The 8-inches of individually wrapped coils are encased in separate pockets so they can contour precisely to your body. Individually wrapped coil innerspring system moves independently and reduces the sensation of movement on a bed providing contouring comfort and support for an undisturbed night's sleep. There are two cushioning fiber layers on top and beneath the coils, which provide a buffer, so you never feel the coils, even after years of use. Individually Wrapped Coils Our 10-inch pillow top mattress consists of innerspring individual coils wrapped in a fabric designed to minimize friction and maximize support. The tempered steel coils tend to provide consistent distribution of support throughout the mattress and lessens motion transfer for sleep partners. Individually wrapped coils move independently and are encased in separate pockets so they can contour precisely to each person and provide, deep, comforting pressure relief, independent of body type. Comfort and Durability Our Serena pillow top mattress is both comfortable and durable. Overall, individually wrapped coils offer superior comfort and pressure relief over a traditional coil system. Although a traditional coil can be very comfortable when paired with the proper pressure relieving comfort layers, an individually wrapped coil is superior due to its ability to provide individualized contouring and motion separation for undisturbed rest. Also, wrapped coils are extremely durable and will last for years. They do not wear down over time making them a great support system for your body. Get it Right the First Time It is also a good idea to know the size and the height of your mattress ahead of time to make sure you are ordering the correct size. Keep in mind that you should combine the height of your bed frame, foundation, or adjustable bed base with the height of your mattress to get a gauge of the how tall your sleep system will be. 2.0 version is bad
I have a 10 inch 1.0 version and it's the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. However, it was sold out and I went with a 2.0 version hoping it'll be an improved 1.0 mattress. Boy was I wrong. It's hard as a pile of rocks. Not as a single rock, as a pile, because it's extremely lumpy. You can really feel those inner springs and air gaps in-between. I developed an excruciating neck pain that then spread to the rest of my body. I slept in another room on my 1.0 mattress and the pain went away. If the 2.0 mattress wasn't so bulky, I'd return it this very moment. I haven't slept on it for several weeks because I don't want to be in pain again.

Disappointed
Not completely as described. Mattress totally sinks down to almost nothing when sitting on bed. Seems the springs around perimeter of bed aren’t the most supportive. I’m only 110lbs so if your using this for a small kid it might be ok but the one I got was definitely not going to work for any adults I had use it.

A bit wrinkled, but OK
After 3 days, the top pad had some wrinkles near the top that would not straighten and did not look smooth like the pictures on the Amazon site. I sleep face-down, so that would have presented a problem. Thankfully, I added a 2 inch memory foam and a mattress cover. Before I added the foam and cover, the bed was rather soft, but not uncomfortable, and the springs were barely, if at all, noticeable. HINT: even after 3 days, you may want to press down, all around, the top of the bed. You might hear some springs 'pop' into place.

Very happy! Basic mattress, add a topper.
Excellent price. Seems like good quality build. It does transfer some motion, but not very much. The "pillow top" is very thin, but that means it won't develop sagging spots. It's enough to not feel the individual springs, but I'd recommend adding a good mattress topper to make it a little less firm and more comfortable.Because this is a very basic mattress -- pocket springs and a 1" pillow top -- there isn't much that can wear out. The part of mattresses that develops sags usually isn't the springs, it's the foam layers they add on top of the springs. By adding a quality latex foam layer myself, if needed I'll be able to replace only the topper and the mattress itself will last many years.I added a 2" medium layer of latex foam. It leaves the mattress still on the firm side, but is comfortable for us, and for any sleeping positions. And at 1/10th the cost of previous mattresses, even if it only lasted a year it'd still be worth it. I'm sure it'll be far more durable than that, though.

It's all right but there's NO pillow top involved
Online friends got into a discussion about buying a mattress online and a number noted they had done just that and were satisfied, providing links. I read the reviews, noted the price, and ordered one--king 9" pillow-top. We've slept on it for awhile, and it is all right, especially since I added a cushy cooling mattress pad. I like a firmer bed, and this works. The pillow top is NOT a pillow top AT ALL, though. The top is a piece of very firm foam and below that are the coils/springs. There is *nothing* pillowy about the top of the mattress, thus the addition of a lofty/softy mattress pad. Perhaps we received the wrong one? The sides of the mattress are not firm, which makes me think it won't last long, but I figure if we get a year out of it, we will have spent less than $1 per night.Would I buy it again. Maybe. For a guest room, but probably not for our main bed. I enjoy a more luxurious feel to a bed. This one is utilitarian, which is reflected in the good price. On the bed, it looks like a shipping box covered in a bedspread, but I didn't buy it for looks.Box was really heavy as noted in previous reviews, and came looking like it had "been rode hard and put up wet." One end was entirely open and the other end was mostly open. The box was really beat up, but the mattress was fine.Oh, and it came pre-stained with what looks like droplets of oil or ink on one side. Well built and relatively firm, perfect for our 3 year old
We bought this mattress for our three year old daughter who was transitioning from her toddler bed. I was a little worried buying a mattress online but the overall reviews for this model were very good as is Amazons return policy so I figured I'd give it a try.The mattress arrived vacuum sealed and rolled up very tightly in a box that I swore could never fit a full size 10 inch thick mattress but I was definitely wrong. As the instructions said you should open and unroll it as soon as you get it and give it a day or two to "breath" so that's what we did. Within the first couple minutes it expanded to almost full size and by the next day it looked like any standard full mattress. We left it out on it's own for a second day and then assembled her bed.We did not have any issues with odor that I saw some other people report nor with the uniformity of the mattress. Quite honestly its a very nice mattress, not overly soft but not hard, and overall very comfortable. We did buy a couple waterproof mattress toppers for it but otherwise our daughter has been using it for a couple months now and it's worked out great. We have a 1 year old and when he transitions out of his toddler bed we plan on buying the exact same mattress based on our experience with this one.

Give it time to fluff up! Seriously!
I just received this mattress a few days ago, and I already really like it. I thought of giving 4 stars just because it is a little more firm than I had hoped, but considering the price, you get what you pay for! I think it’s a great deal for the price but seriously... give it the 48 hours to fluff up! I had planned on being out of the house for the first couple days of having it but my plans got changed a bit and had to sleep on it within 12 hours of getting it and it was less than satisfactory. However, after leaving and giving it the full time to fluff, it is so comfortable! If you like firm with a little give, this mattress is perfect. I’m not normally a firm mattress fan (and maybe it’s being stuck on cot while away affecting my judgement) but coming home to this bed was a little piece of heaven and a pleasant surprise compared to the first night.
