Wildlife Photographer of the Year: Portfolio 23 (23)

Bought this for my wife's birthday. We spend 100 to 200 hours a year taking wildlife photos in Montana where we live and across the border in BC and Alberta. We really can appreciate the tremendous effort professional wildlife photographers take in producing the incredible photos in this book.If you are a photographer this book can give you ideas. If not you will be amazed anyway. Well worth the price.

You can't believe how hard these photographers work to get these pictures! After marveling at that you start to realize that these pictures may soon be the only record of the existence of most of these animals. Good idea to put this on the coffee table and flip through it from time to time as a reminder for you, your family and friends.

The pictures are breathtaking, but I especially love the personal stories that accompany each photo. Many hours of escapist enjoyment.

I got this book to give as a gift, and the recipient absolutely loves it. I will be getting more volumes in the series.

I have the complete collection and the images don't match earlier competitions.

Beautiful book, pictures are breathtaking anyone who loves wild animals will be delighted with it.

We buy this book every year when we go to the exhibition but this year were unable to. Thankfully this book is of such a high quality that it is almost as good as going to the exhibition. The photos are amazing and are great to go through your children with.Word of warning: If you are going to go through this with young or impressionable ones, make sure that you don't go through the last section of the book (about the ivory trade), which while very worthwhile can be a little harrowing and gruesome.

I collect wildlife photography books and just like the rest of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year books its fantastic. I will keep buying them for the stunning pictures, the remarkable subjects and very talented photographers.

I love these so they are always on my Christmas list (and now I've found that they do a diary - so is that!). This is as good as ever and gives me hours of joy through the year. Well boxed and quick to arrive too

Had a tour of the exhibition in London (Natural History Museum) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bought the book as a Christmas present and it has been already well-thumbed. Will certainly consider buying next year's edition.
