It says that the bottom removes - it does not
It looks stylish and its fits into a much smaller space than my wooden knife block. However the large knives fit well but the smaller ones rattle about. There is no space to fit the hone, you have to use the slot designed for scissors. But it holds a lot of knives and has a drainage hole in the bottom so you can wash it. I preferred my old one but it was 30 years old and could not be washed so although only clean knives were stored in it I thought I really should replace it for hygienic reasons. I removed two stars for the non removable bottom and no place for a hone

Good quality, compact knife holder
Great quality and looks good and is so compact. I managed to get 12 varying size knives in comfortably. The base is removable for cleaning but it is very snug (which is good) but a bit difficult to take out.

It’s really nice looking and used it for holding knife which give us safety protection
