Not what I was expecting
This book doesn't seem like it was fully edited. There is a smoothie recipe that calls for "skim milk"... and there's a recipe for avocado toast that suggests 4 tablespoons of hemp hearts on 2 pieces of toast. What? That would be insane to try to eat 2 tablespoons of dry hemp hearts on one piece of toast. It didn't even recommend blending the hemp into the avocado, but rather "topping" it with them?I feel bad saying this but most of the recipes are not creative. They are things I was already making... very basic ideas... There is no information on what is needed to build muscle, or why protein is necessary and it's function in the body. Just goes right into recipes. There are a ton of recipes on desserts too? Not sure why anyone trying to get fit would need all that? Just my opinion though. All pics are in black and white. This book DOES map out the nutrition facts for each serving, which is fantastic!

Just go to a protein powder's website
I was really disappointed with this cookbook. First, the product itself is just cheap - like the bargain books you'd find in an old store. Second, it feels like every receipt uses either protein powder which feels like cheating for a cookbook, or some other store bought product. If you want to use those, that's fine, but you'd find better recipes online. Cheap, lazy, and nothing new in here.

Kinda Blah
Was ok, thought it would be a bit more better produced, seemed low budget,...Recipes ok. Was hoping for some really good Vegan Body building stuff.

whey protein is not vegan or plant based
I was hopeful after seeing the good reviews until I came upon a recipe calling for whey protein which is dairy based. The author also calls for protein to be added by the scoup and the number of grams of protein per scoup varies significantly by brand. Many better quality books out there!

For *aspiring* vegans
How you gonna write a Vegan cookbook and the very first recipe contains 48% DV CHOLESTEROL! That’s so funny! Last I checked, vegetables and nuts don’t have livers to produce that sh!t.

Not Vegan, Not Body Building!!
This book fails on everything it set out to do. There's one recipe for protein pancakes which calls for whole eggs and "whey protein" (a milk extract). The recipes that are actually vegan don't look like they'd belong on any kind of conventional body building plan. Some are VERY high calorie content whilst being low on protein. Then on top of all that, instances where he’s clearly divided by 2 when he meant to times by two in the nutritional info. It’s very sloppy!!
