I'm wearing a size medium. 5ft 7in and about 185pounds as I have an athletic build men's style costumes for my broad shoulder span better. A ton of compliments on my whole outfit plus releasing blood capsules while grocery shopping is fun

This coat is a wow kind of coat. I ordered it for my husband to wear as the Mad Hatter because my family was doing a family theme of the Alice in Wonderland characters for Halloween. I ordered up one size for him, and it was a bit too snug for his broad shoulders. It was only snug in the shoulders, though, and did fit everywhere else. I ordered the absolute largest size (he normally wears an XL in shirts), and he liked the shoulders in the biggest size better. If your guy doesn’t have broad shoulders, he can probably order true to size. My husband is shaped like an inverted triangle from years of martial arts training, so he’s got very large shoulders and arms and not as big of a mid-section. The pattern on the coat is exquisite, and the make is surprisingly good. I wasn’t expecting such high quality from the coat, to be honest, but it’s really well made. My husband loved it immediately. I got the dark green one, so it can be used for Christmas and Saint Patrick’s Day as well. I do highly recommend it for whatever you might be looking at it for. It has a built-in waistcoat, so all you need is a collared shirt underneath, and pants, of course. Unless you don’t want to wear pants, and that’s your prerogative, though I do highly recommend pants. Anyway, before this review gets weirder, buy this coat with confidence you’re getting a good product.

This was perfect for my vampire costume, I love it. For the size I went XL I’m 6’2 and I weight 165 and it fits perfect.

The size chart is off so I ordered an XXXL Where I probably only needed an XXL or even an XL. The coat itself is a good lightweight quality. It doesn't feel like it will rip from regular wear. Even if you plan on doing some cosplay parkour with it it will hold up. Trust me when I say it is "field tested". It is comfy as well and even though it is big my roommate says it looks like it fits me snugly. It is a flattering design. I would have given it a 5 star rating but the star is only 4 due to the misleading size chart. To put into perspective, I am 6' and 180 ibs. The coat has some wiggle room to layer a warm layer underneath because of the oversize, though I am contemplating getting a smaller size for the warmer seasons as I purchased this as formal attire.

I am so happy that I bought this jacket. I bought a red one from a different company that was supposedly the same design, but was deeply disappointed. So I bought this black one as a backup and I'm so glad that I did. It fits perfectly and looks so much better than the more expensive one that I didn't like and sent back. The material is fine and everything else works well with my Halloween costume.

Bought this for the Sherwood Festival here in Texas. I'm 6'2" and 240 lbs with a broad barrel chest. I can usually do XL in most items, and 2XL on some that I know run small. I figured this would run small so went with a 2XL when I ordered it. What came was something I would never be able to wear. The sleeves were so long they made me think I had to be an orangutang to look right since the sleeves went almost 8 inches past my fingertips. The sleeve problem I could have fixed with some pins at least or just rolling them up somewhat. The issue was the buttons wouldn't go past my nipples. There was zero way I was going to get the buttons into their corresponding slots on the other side of the coat around my chest. It wasn't even close to fitting properly. Even if they offered a 4XL I don't think I could get it around. I admit I have a wide set of shoulders and chest as a drop 8 for my suit sizing but this coat was made for something that was a broomstick.
