The description is wrong. This is not a replacement for 2MR9
The battery in the listing is A14PX. What I received had A14PX on the box (on one side), the other side had S28PX and the battery is labeled A25PX. A25PX is definitely not a direct replacement for 2MR9.

I was very happy to find this battery
I was very happy to find this battery. It replaces an old style mercury cell which has not been manufactured in years for obvious reasons. Very rapid delivery, works like a charm. Get yours today. :-)

Physical size
Battery to big (tall) for the device. Can't be used for the telescope finder scope.
