Update: the straw was driving me nuts at first but I figured out why it sucked. I wish there was more details on the description. But if you are having issues with the straw check the bottom where the rubber thing curves, all I had to do was pull it out more and the straw works. I don't know how often I'm going to have to do that.I'm not sure why this got such great reviews. This is basically the position of the straw every time you open the lid. You either have to try and dig it out or open the lid completely to drink from it, so I've just given up on the straw, which is half the reason I bought this. I do like the writing and the shape of the bottle, but now that I'm not using the straw, the lid piece is just in my face when I try to drink from it.

The gallon (128 ounces) and half gallon (64 ounces) are not the same amount as 3 liters and 1.5 liters. 3 liters equals 3/4 gallon (about 101 ounces), 1.5 liters is a tad less then 4/10 gallon (about 50 ounces). Other than not the size that I was expecting, seems to work fine. I frequently take two 1.5 liter bottles of water to work and sometimes still run out. I was hoping that the gallon was a true gallon.

I love the concept but the straw is not great. Needs improvement in functionality. Also...it is supposed to be a half gallon which translates to 64oz but for some reason I can only put 3 x 16.9oz water bottles in the container. That equals about 50 oz.

I try to drink a few liters of water a day, but this water bottle made that even easier. I always have this full of water and in my fridge, so whenever I need a few liters, I always grab this first. It's super easy to drink from, super durable (I've dropped it before with a full thing of water and no dents or damage), and it looks pretty hip. Would definitely recommend!

Cute but leaks and not comfortable to drink out of. Would not buy again.

I use it every day. The big straw really helps with getting to your goals for the day.

The HydroMATE 1/2 gallon water bottle is amazing! The words are very inspirational, I finished the whole bottle on the first day thanks to them! It arrived very quickly via Amazon Prime.

This is not 64 ounces. It is marketed as a half gallon but it is not. Very disappointed. Just be honest about the amount in your description. It is 1.5 liters...not 2.
