I've been looking for a heavy mink blanket for a while for the crazy winters in NYC. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and it is very warm and heavy. If you're looking for something lighter this isn't it.

Updated review after used and washedFirst off, this blanket has been great. Really warm and is great on our queen sized bed.Sadly after washing the blanket once it has several very large areas of material that has completely lost the super soft texture. I added a new photo showing a patch. The texture is completely different than the super soft material also in the photo :( i think this blanket should be hung dry, no dryer at all. But my higher quality similar blankets dry very well. That is a big downside for the inconvenience. And the matting/felting is very noticeable. I had hoped this blanket would last me many years. I was expecting more like similar Mexican blankets, those seem like higher quality and that they would last longer but not nearly as silky soft. It didn’t have any weird smells and was packaged well, so right away I tossed it on the bed. I wanted a king size for my queen bed because the boyfriend and I sometimes hog the queen sized blanket. I was expecting this one to be a little wider but we stayed warm all night. It was surprisingly warm in fact, very very nice for colder nights.Afternoon it gets washed a few times and we use it for a few months I’ll add a second review.

I have one similar that I loved and been looking for one like it 4 ever. I found it! This blanket is perfect for keeping warm but not to hot. It is the softest and doesn't loose that softness ever. It's 2 ply too but ur not sweating ur butt off with it. Luv this one...

My spouse had a mink blanket made in Korea decades ago while serving our country. It was very heavy and warm but starting to unravel. He thought he'd never have the comfort of one purchased in the U.S.A. This one is more light weight but he is very happy with the cozy softness and warmth it provides.

Hands down one of the best blankets you can buy, it's so heavy and soft my wife and kids love it! Worth every penny. There are two designs, one on each side so choose whichever you feel like that day.

Upon receiving my package it was is very tight sealed lining. When I took it out to inspect my purchase, right away you can feel the quality and softness. It was exactly what I ordered. I will be buying another real soon. I will be a definitely returning customer and recommend to all my family & friends.

Beautiful blanket not as soft as I thought it would be the blanket binding is scratchy but hopefully with use and washing it will go away. Nice weight I don't like heavy blankets love it is reversible. It is small I would have ordered king size but this pattern wasn't available. I may get another king size and use this on my love seat.

I gifted this to my niece and she's 7 years old. She had one ever since she was a baby and I wanted to replace it. She liked it but she still preferred her old one which isn't as soft. I used it one night I went over and it was very warm and soft. I could not stop touching the blanket. The blanket isn't heavy as described. I have had heavier blanket before. However, it's the perfect blanket for a Florida winter. I would buy one for myself!
