If you had ever asked me “what’s the worst thing you’ve ever eaten?” I would have struggled to find an answer for you. Until now. This. THIS is the worst thing I’ve ever eaten. It’s so bad that I’m writing this review months after I tasted it because I still think about how awful that one and only bite was. It is everything that gnocchi isn’t supposed to be. It’s grainy, mushy, pasty, and…sweet?? I mean….buy it for the experience because this could be the new viral challenge.

Fry these — don't boil them
These are absolutely delicious. A bit tangy, a lot tasty. I like to get my skillet nice and hot, add ghee or a high smoke point oil like avocado oil, then let them brown for a minute or two before flipping them. Toward the end of their cook time, I add butter, salt, pepper, and any herbs I have lying around. Just that way, they are fantastic. My sons who do NOT have to avoid gluten — and who are not super into many things made with cauliflower — devoured these. it's all about how you prepare them. I tried them boiled and liked them much less.

Pleasantly surprised!
I’m shocked by the reviews, perhaps they haven’t cooked them properly, or not enough sauce. When I opened the bag, I was scared, they smell like... well, the after shakes you get after eating cauliflower 💨 😄 but after mustering the courage to try them, I cooked them both suggested ways: pan fried and boiled. When cooked the right amount of time, they came out very soft, fluffy, and like what you’d expect gnocchi to be texturally. I tried the fried ones dipped in a white garlic sauce and the boiled one in a soup. Both ways took flavor in nicely. Next I will try them with a tomato sausage sauce and I expect them to be very good as well. I would recommend! My only issue with these is the fact that they’re cauliflower, you would assume they would be lower carb, but they are not. I’m not sure what the purpose of making them with cauliflower was, in this case?

Weird tangy flavor …why
Decent texture if u follow instructions but can get messy n stuck if you’re not careful. They had this weird…tangy sour kinda taste which I did not enjoy.

Delicious Air Fried - update: mold inside
I sprayed them with a little avocado oil and sprinkled with garlic salt then air fried for about 10 minutes until golden. They were delicious- also had some organic marinara for dipping! Easy, quick and delicious dinner!Update … 3rd time buying and when I opened the box, the bag with the gnocchi inside was covered in mold! There was still two months left before it expired. Could just be a one time issue, but buyer beware.

Great product!
These Gnocchi are my new "go to" meal when I don't want to spend a lot of time fussing in the kitchen. There is a bit of a tangy taste to them, due to the lactic acid as a preservative, BUT, if you use the recipe on the back the box, which requires fresh lemon juice and capers, the lactic acid flavor no longer becomes an issue. I keep several boxes on hand at all times. Quick and easy.

Want a good substitute for me
Some things cauliflower can make for a great substitution. This was not one of them in my opinion. I did not care for the gritty texture or flavor. It's real gnocchi or gtfo from now on. I've tried and I've learned. But perhaps you might like it!
