I first purchased this pillow in 2012. Since then I purchased this pillow several times over the years for family members. They all loved it. I last purchased the pillow in 2019 for myself. I found the new pillow was exactly the same as my old one that had lasted for years. It is 2021 and I am still very happy with my sleep innovations contour cervical support pillow. In my experience it has not changed.

Q: I saw that some people said it wasn't as firm. How does it compare to a temper pedic?

This pillow is not as firm as Tempur-pedic's material. Tempur-pedic material is very dense.

Q: what is the thickness at the higher end

The higher 5" and thicknes 3" approx.
