I'm impressed with the freshness of this product. I also like the packaging. It comes in a paper, resealable bag and inside that, there is a foil bag with the cumin seed.

These cacao nibs are the best yet among the ones I have purchased. They are well dried, have a deep flavor. No mold which I have occasionally discovered with other brands.

This is my first time trying whole cumin seeds, but it tasted great! If you can stand a bit of nutty taste, then you be fine. Package was sealed for freshness and expiration was very visible.

These cumin seeds from Nova arrive in a resealable foil & brown paper pouch that helps keep them fresh.Pretty important as for the uninitiated 16 OZ /(454 gm) of cumin seeds seems like a never ending supply.I get through a fair amount of cumin, but that amount will take me a fair amount of time. So I keep a usable amount in a jar I have easy access to & the rest gets vacuum sealed up & kept in my herbs & spices freezer where it wont get tainted by other strong smelling spices & remain in perfect condition.These seem very good quality seeds, I had a look through them when they arrived to make sure that there were no stones or insect life... happy to say none of either. They have a beautiful taste & aroma which is further enlivened by gently toasting in a pan, grinding them or my favourite heating them up in ghee or butter.They are a vital ingredient in many cuisines & dishes or they can be used medicinally too, they are known for their aid in digestion, they provide iron... there are many benefits, some substantiated & others that need some further studies. I also like chewing on the seeds as they are, nice taste & keeps the breath sweet.These are a little pricier than some bulk bags but they are labelled as: Our Cumin Seeds is 100% Certified Organic, Vegan, Natural, Gluten Free, Kosher & Halal.It is widely used in the cuisines of many cultures in both whole and ground formFree of artificial colour, flavor, sulfates, phthalates, dioxides, stearates.Manufactured in GMP Facility.Though I said a little pricier above they are vastly cheaper to buy than certain little glass jars that can be bought in your local supermarket. The glass jars work out at [£1.65/35g] = 0.047p/g & the Nova work out at [£9.99/480g] = 0.020p/g, less than half the price & in my mind & taste buds a lot better quality.

A pack of 454g organic cumin seeds, with a sealable pouch (which doesn't seal properly, therefore you need to put in your own container to keep the freshness).They're quite aromatic, a bit dry (I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing). They are very good quality & a bit different to cumin seeds I've bought in-store. The colour us different (more green than yellow & the texture. They're, however, more aromatic.I normally use cumin powder, so will have to access a grinder to see how they compare against my usual powder. In my country (middle East), traditionally, as kids or whoever has stomach or digestion problems, were given 1-2 teaspoons of cumin powder in boiling water along with sugar crystals (available in middle Eastern supermarkets) to ease stomach ache & aid digestion. Actually, now I read about it, cumin is well known for this.The price for quantity & organic is not bad at currently £10, but given the amount, most people don't need this much. Unless you cook a lot of curry or have much use for them. If you grind it for powder, it's more yielding in terms of flavour & taste. I've given it 1 star less due to this fact, & recommend selling in smaller quantities plus the inconvenience of the pouch not re-seaking well & having to use another container to store.

I love cooking with fresh herbs and spices. Not only do they make food smell so aromatic, they make it taste so much better.I use cumin seeds a lot in my cooking. I would dry roast and grind them to powder. I make small batches at a time to maintain the freshness. Only a small amount of this freshly grind cumin powder is needed to take a plain fish curry into another level.As I have used a lot of cumin seeds before, I can attest that these cumin seeds from Nova Nutrition are of good quality, fresh and natural. On paper, it says that these seeds are 100% organic and it’s good to know that it’s free from artificial colour, flavour, sulfates, phthalates, dioxides and stearates.It comes in a huge 454g resealable brown foiled pouch for the current price of £9.99. The price may be slightly higher for good natural organic seeds, but the price reflects the quality of the seeds.Overall, great natural organic cumin seeds perfect for my cooking needs.Thank you for reading.

This is very nice quality seeds. It is very aromatic and the taste was wonderful. They are fragrant and delicious. As soon as I opened the package the freshness of the seeds filled the air.They are great in the curries and other dishes I enjoy cooking. I like that there are Free of artificial color, flavor,, phthalates, dioxides, . All that's in the package are cumin seeds.Cumin seed is better than ground cumin because it keeps fresh longer and has a deeper flavor - all you have to do is toast and grind the cumin seed as needed, and i appreciate the fact that this came in a re-sealable bag.Overall, for anyone that cooks with cumin a lot, this is a much better way to get great cumin vs the small jars of already ground. It really flavors our Indian dishes well, in fact we have to be careful not to over do the amount used with the fresh product.

This is a huge pack of really beautifully flavoured cumin seed which I love not only for curries and spicy dishes but I often use in toasted in a bit of butter and then cooked with the cabbage or cauliflower. Delicious.I make lots of chillie and love these seeds in it.They come well packed in a reseal pouch. These pouches are becoming very popular as a substitute for plastics. I really do not like this trend but it is difficult for manufacturers to find a more plastic free way. I then tip them our in to jars to keep and use. That is the best way to store these ...in a jar.The taste is really good. and I very much prefer Organic and pay the price for that as weed killer is now i all our food and does us so much harm. Organic is grown with no Glycophospates so much better for health.Great product.
