Volant 61503 Universal Dry Filter

This is my 2nd filter I’ve purchased. Even at 100k miles each time I feel like it would have lasted even longer and filtered perfectly fine

In case you were wondering, this is in fact the same part as Corsa 61503. I have a Corsa CAI that uses 61503 and was worried that it may be slightly different in some way.NOPE! In fact, when I removed the original Corsa Filter to install this one, The original Corsa Filter actually says Volant on it as well so I am guessing they are under the same parent company.

This was a great buy.

One thing to note first. The part number is correct, the picture is NOT. This is the blue power core filter (P/N 61503 on Volants website) ONLY.This is the first time I've replaced the powercore air filter for my volant intake (due to age only, didnt notice any issues). Word of warning, The blue filter material can become separated from the rubber which attaches it to the intake pipe. This could allow dirt to bypass the filter entirely. It's important to note that this happened when I originally assembled the intake, not with the replacement filter that this review is for. To clarify, I was able to manhandle the new filter without damaging it, just don't be careless I guess.

Exact fit and definitely can tell the difference between the old one to this one
