Q: Are the screws and screw driver bit Phillips?

NO Phillips, our screws are with a square recess in the head, called Robertson Screws. Square Bits for these screws are known as Robertson bits. Customers hate stripping screws such as Phillips which might bring their project to a complete halt. Robertson Screws and Bit have almost Zero chance on stripping screws. Thanks to P. L. Robertson in Milton, Ontario, Canada, invented this great screws in 1908.

Q: Does it have a gauge for setting the collar position?

Dear Customer, Thank you for interesting on our product. VINWOX Pocket Hole Jig is with adjustable collar positioned with ruler, not gauge. A settig gauge is not easy to fix on the jig, so there isn't a collar gauge for many brands of pocket hole jig, even their collars is not adjustale, most with fixed collar. Hope this is helpful.
