Amazing purchase for the Value
To preface this review, I'd like to emphasize that my assessment is based on my specific requirements and the setup of my smart home.Pros:1. The camera's sound quality is truly remarkable. Even when positioned at approximately 22 feet (although I do not recommend such elevation), the audio remains clear.2. The setup process is refreshingly straightforward. However, it's essential to highlight that you should not mount the cameras until you have carefully reviewed the instructions. Syncing with the Base Station is a prerequisite before mounting them.3. The array of configuration options is impressively extensive, offering significant customization of settings.4. Local recording is available at no additional cost, and there are no hidden features that require extra purchases.5. The ability to manage local storage and automatically replace older recordings with new ones is a practical feature.6. Integration with Alexa announcements functions seamlessly.7. The solar charging capability is quite impressive. Despite initial skepticism, after a month of use, I have observed my cameras reaching only about 88% charge, quickly returning to 100% before nightfall. This is particularly noteworthy for those on the East Coast with shorter daylight hours during winter.8. The camera's extensive view, as advertised, with its 135-degree field of vision, eliminates the need for pan and tilt features when multiple cameras are in use. Three of these cameras can cover the same range, if not more.9. It boasts a built-in floodlight that is notably bright and can be triggered by motion.Cons:1. Facial recognition functions most effectively when the camera is positioned approximately 10 feet above the ground. However, this height may expose the camera to potential tampering, making it more accessible.2. Unfortunately, the camera cannot be viewed within the Amazon Alexa App, which may inconvenience users who rely on the app for centralized control.3. Regrettably, there is no integration with Smartthings, limiting its compatibility within broader smart home ecosystems.4. The Base Station's functionality and options for storage and recorded content are notably limited. There's room for improvement in providing users with more comprehensive video editing and archival solutions. Presently, everything is controlled through the camera, rendering recorded content inaccessible during camera downtime, which may leave users feeling somewhat restricted.5. The rear mount can be inconvenient, limiting camera placement. It would be beneficial if they offered an elbow extension to facilitate positioning.FYI:1. It's worth mentioning that, since this is a locally recorded system, the camera's performance heavily relies on the Base Station being positioned approximately 50 feet away. If the Base Station is located in a basement, it may lead to intermittent connection drops between the camera and Base Station, resulting in choppy performance. While not necessarily a con, it's an inherent limitation. The documentation suggests using extenders to address this issue, although I haven't personally tested this solution yet.2. As previously noted, my initial camera placement at over 20 feet had to be adjusted. I eventually settled for a height of approximately 12 to 15 feet. This change compromised facial recognition capabilities but highlighted the camera's impressive image quality.3. The extensive 135-degree field of vision, while a pro, has its con: focusing can be challenging. For instance, if the camera is turned to a 90-degree angle with a wall nearby, the floodlight may illuminate the wall and cause the camera to focus on it, rather than on objects on the other side. This specificity in configuring the field of vision can detract from its overall appeal.

Easy set up, great quality!
Replaced a Bing System that would not interact with our new Frontier Internet.Super easy set up, mounts almost identical to previous camera mounting holes (i had to angle the screws to make it work)I was concerned with the solar on my lanai, which is shaded, no issues. The battery displays are always full on the monitor.Cameras are sensative.Still getting used to playback and event statuses.Picture quality is terrific!Very Happy with the purchase.

Not reliable at all !! Had High Alert Security Detection on, cameras didn't catch 2 humans 4 dogs
Installation and operation very easy. Camera quality pretty good! Functionality ZERO !! The application is extremely slow. Very sluggish and not responsive. Not as advertised. It doesn't detect everything even if you turn up the sensitivity. 90% of the time when i try to access any of the 4 cameras it says i need to reconnect the cameras. But maybe an hour later it will work. When on AWAY mode with all parameters active for any motion it will not detect anything. I have the base hardwired with the Ethernet cable to the modem. I bought this package with the home base thinking it would make the experience much better specially with the AI option. But i am very disappointed. Do not waste your money. If i hadn't paid someone to install them and if it was easier for me to go back up and un-install them i would definitely return them. They are useless. Forgot to turn the security off and cameras only realized someone was in there 3 hours later, lol they're a joke. And one of the cameras stopped charging a little over a month. Sun exposure all day here in texas and its low on battery, i wish it was working properly for it to drain the battery and not charge.

First week review good so far.
Already had the Eufy duel doorbell cam (No Fees) Model T8213 with Homebase2 local storage (No Cloud Storage) and very pleased with this product. I added four S330 4K resolution solar powered cameras outside my house after reading and watching YouTube reviews. Got the four cam set on Cyber Monday for $430, regularly $699. They were easy to set up (even for seniors) and mount, but didn’t realize they connected to my existing Homebase2. Was easy to transfer connected devices and archived files to the included Homebase3 which has an expandable 16 TB memory capability that I have not used yet. The mounting brackets are awesome and versatile and easy to mount, the included Philips screws are junk and can strip out if you don’t pre drill mounting holes depending on density of material. They all have strong signals from Wi-Fi even though they are outside and some over 100’ from driver. Built in solar charging is working great. Even with cloudy days they recover well when sun is out. Only need 2 hrs of sun per day to maintain. Found it better to mount about 10-12’ high to get the required 5 deg tilt and on corners of buildings not over doors to take advantage of field of view. Amazing wide angle coverage. Anti-Theft setting will alarm and alert you if cameras are tampered with. Local indoor storage device secure the footage if someone destroys or steals cameras. If you have outdoor lighting you can use the black and white night vision setting instead of the color setting to be more battery efficient and recording will be in color. Have not used the AI for people and vehicle identification, because in rural setting with not much activity. All in all this is a quality easy to install, set up, and maintain security system solution for any home or business with secure local storage . Thinking about putting Wi-Fi and Homebase on power inverter for 24/7 coverage even during power outage or organized home invasion if someone cut utility power. Would recommend and buy again!Keep me as the apple of Your eye;hide me in the shadow of Your wingsfrom the wicked who assail me,from my mortal enemies who surround me. Psalm 17:8,9
