The clips don’t open up too wide
If you have a thick brim on your hat or a thick handbag rim.,these don’t open that wide. Disappointed because certain handbags I have these clips won’t fit.

Secure Way to Travel with a Hat!
I’ll be honest I was worried the clip wouldn’t be tight enough (and the hat would fall) or it would be too tight and damage my hat… but these are PERFECT!The ring is easy to open and close, and my hat didn’t fall (even though I bumped it quite a few times).I highly recommend these!
