this is not a 3d tv, the information on here states a model number, if you enter the model number into any search all the other specs come up on this t.v. except for the fact that it is 3d

Black screen fixed - LED's in series - cheap model
Just repaired one of these for a friend (I don't own this model). Construction was cheap, but he said he was happy with it when it worked. For those that come along later, he had a blue light on the bottom when powered on but black screen. Using a strong flashlight I could see a faint image on the screen. Troubleshooting revealed the LEDs inside are wired like old Christmas lights - all in series. If one goes out, they all go out. The one I worked on had 3V LED's in it. (we just replaced the bad LED with a series of diodes to add up to 3V of voltage drop). I wouldn't recommend this TV new unless it was very cheap.

We bought this tv less than two years ago and it has just died. No warning signs, nothing. Just won't turn on. Seems this is a common problem.
