Defective Item
Kefir grains received per my order had a bad smell, dark red color and slick to the touch; I tried to make a kefir following your instruction and never got it, instead of this got a milky liquid with a red stinky film on the top. I request a refund for this transaction. Thank you in advance for your considerations.

Makes really great kefir
The grains came very well packed and activated with easy. Starting with one cup of organic whole cow's milk, 24 hours later I was able to drink the first batch. It tasted delicious. Over the next 2 batches, I increased to my usual quart batch size. To activate, I followed the simple instructions and liked that I didn't need to discard early batches as with other starters I've tried.

I had previously written that my inquiries to the company got no response, but I was wrong. I found their replies in a random file in my email account. My apologies. If I can figure out how to pull up my previous review I will amend it.

wonderful
received in USPS. it took two tries to get a quality cup of kefir. It is growing leaps and bounds everyday. Kefir is sour and tangy, definitely an acquired taste, and I love it!
