I accidentally washed my AirPods with a big load of laundry (hot water, multiple rinses, and strong detergent). The protective case totally worked, the pods and the charging case are functioning perfectly and the rubber case itself showed no damage at all!

I've washed two pairs of AirPods with their charging cases since I've owned them! The AirPods themselves seems to survive the experience pretty well but each time, the case has died.This second time around I went on amazon to research a solution for myself and came across this product.The minute I got it, I put a few quarters in it to simulate the weight of the AirPods and threw it in the washer and put it through a cycle. It performed with flying colors as when I opened it up and emptied out the quarters they were completely dry. So this device does exactly what I intend it to do.It is however more bulky than it needs to be to do it's intended job, this is probably for shock protection but still overkill I think.It's seal is tight, that's a good thing but there's no tactile or other indication that it's sealed. That's a bit problematic as well.Opening it can be a bear! You kind of have to man handle it and open it like your breaking something apart like a twig or stick, which is fine but it does inhibit quick access to the AirPods say when you take a phone call.And finally, Why can't manufacturers of Apple product accessories be more liberal with the lightning connector portal in order to accommodate 3rd party cables?Doing so would have no impact on the structure or function of the product and they'd get zero complaints from users who used Apple's included cables as it would be doubtful that they'd even notice.Whereas making the portal absolutely to the specification of the the Apple lightning cable adds frustration to the use of their product, As is the case here.With all of that being said, they're definitely on the right track with this product. I just picked up one of Catalyst's silicone cases and returned it immediately because I have absolutely no faith it'll protect my AirPods through the rinse cycle.

This case is awesome. I was so worried about keeping my new airpods safe since the plastic case can easily get damaged. I’m really happy with my decision of this case over the less expensive alternatives. To be totally transparent, I haven’t dropped them yet so I can’t speak to the case’s drop protection *knock on wood*Pros:- The clip is super handy to avoid losing in your bag (or elsewhere)- The thick silicone is a great layer of protection- The charge port cover keeps out dust and gunk- Keeps my case safe from getting knocked around and beat up in my big purseCons- my airpods sometimes open in my bag even with the case- silicons is easy to get dirty so be okay with a few marks- it can be a little hard to plug in my cord and keep the port cover openFinal verdict: I’d definitely still buy these again.

So this product does what it says - it is waterproof and protective. I like that I can clip it onto my backpack and not worry about it if it drops. For reason for less than 5 stars - The case is rather thick though and adds some weight to the case. The metal clip that came with it did not work, so I had to buy a replacement clip. Lastly the case can be a little hard to open and it does not fit the aftermarket cable that I have (that works without the case on it). So overall good - just know what you are buying so you can be happy with it.

I love this case for my AirPods. It is thicker than expected but that is one thing that I like about it. My daughter has a case from a different manufacturer and hers is more of a skin vs a case. I prefer mine to hers. I have not tested it to see if it is waterproof. It is durable and I don’t give it a second thought when I throw it into my purse. Not sure how long the hinge for the lid will stay intact without tearing but I would still by the case again.

I boutght this airpods case for my daughter after she has her own airpods, i would like to say that the airpods is expensive so i was worried about my daughter will get it lost somewhere or get it broken by accident, thus i was trying to find the solutions to prevent this from happen, good luck find what i need finally, yes just this little gadget solve all the problems, and i dont worry she will lost the expensive little things now, because this is a silicone case(shockproof) and there's a carabiner on the case so it could be hooked on her backpack easily!That is a great item and i can feel that she loves it cause the case dose not add much weight to him, and it also easy to use, if i need another airpods, i will choose the case one more, since the case is actually that useful!

Great waterproof case for AirPods! We have swim practice every day for swim team. The swimmers will relax and prep for races/ practices while listening to their AirPods. A couple have lost/broke their’s accidentally to water. This case is perfect for safeguarding their AirPods as well as keeping it safely hooked in their backpacks with their other gear. It’s easy to put on and a great value for the price! The colors are fun as well.

Got this case for my son who is 7 to keep his airpods in. I homeschool and he was always hunting for his wireless earbuds and that took forever. Now he knows right where they are at all times. Traveling to children's hospital a lot these are nice to put them in as well for transport so they do not get lost or broken. The case is easy for him to open and close on his own without issues. I wish I would of gotten this awhile ago maybe then I wouldn't of had to buy set after set of headphones .

This case was a bit chunky and it came used BUT the case is gonna get used anyways so EHHHH can't complain that much. In terms of use the fall proof seems legit as it is quite a thick case. Comes with a keychain loop so thats pretty cool. for the advertized waterproofing I tested it by putting paper towel inside the closed case and put it in a bowl of water, when I opened it the paper remained dry so... works. Don't know what would happen with real airpods though..( I'm too scared to try) :). I wanted to give 4.5 but my pc wont let me so 4 it is. still if you travel outdoors a lot I think this will help.

Firstly this came and looked used and scratched up which was very disappointing, it was also kinda of sticky. It’s also heavy and this is not good as you want a case to be light and not add weight to your purse, bag or pockets. It wasn’t that easy to remove it from the case either. I wanted a case that was silicone and soft and durable. So I ended up buying the Catalyst found on the Apple store. It’s awesome! Glows in the dark, easy to remove whenever I need to and very durable. Plus it’s light weight.

Does not fit on AirPods it is way to large and I definitely wouldn’t chance it with the waterproof aspect. Also doesn’t look very nice and looks like it’s made of cheap materials.

Product was not worth the $$ for the hassle. Extremely difficult to open. Not to mention the lid doesn’t attach to the top of the AirPods so it pretty much just dangles once you struggle to open it. Not really happy w this oneThe clip is already starting to deform too.

This a heavy duty case. It works great at keeping the dust out, as well as magnetic fillings. It has not been dropped into water, so I cannot comment on how water proof it is. The lid is sturdy, and the whole case is durable.
