An unusual spiritual type of approach to using energy healing techniques.
As someone who has been a senior citizen for a few decades my reading interests over the years has included numerous unique and unusual topics. Some of these include: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Zen, Taoism, Tai Chi, Qigong, various martial arts, Warrior fitness, Yoga, Reiki, Quantum healing, numerous energy healing, Hypnosis, Astral projection and related fields. This is why when I saw this 323 page soft cover book (Theta Healing: Introducing extraordinary energy- Healing Modality by Vianna Stibal) on Amazon I decided to purchase it.I was happy with the good delivery service. I found this book to be very informative and its approach to energy healing is unique but clearly spiritual in nature. Indeed, for this particular energy healing to be effective one needs to believe in “the Creator of all that is” in order for this energy healing to actually work. The author is the founder of Theta healing and even though the method is not difficult to learn; nevertheless, like anything in this world “the devil is always in the details.”This book covers an enormous amount of material and in order to get the most out of the this book you need to actually practice and study the instructions in this volume in order to succeed in “Theta Healing” methods. This interesting and informative book deals with some of the following material: the formation of “Theta-healing” the formation of classes, the basics of healings and readings, the road map to all that is, the reading, opening the psychic centers through the Chakras, Theta healing, group healing, why people do not heal, belief systems, how to work on four levels, the creation of feelings, key core beliefs, advanced healing processes, the law of truth, the seven planes of existence, heal, heal thyself, death, initiations and death doors, guardian angels, and numerous other topics. If you are into various forms of energy healing systems you may find this “Theta Healing” method very appealing. I found it to be unique and unusual.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Zen Poetry Moments: Haiku and Senryu for special occasions).

ThetaHealing Works
Initially purchased the Kindle version and realized this information was not only good, but probably the most powerful technique that I had ever encountered. Feeling that the information was a little confined on my Kindle, I bought the book and also attended a class. In that class I had a release of an negative unconscious belief which was replaced with a positive belief, that altered my appearance- and I was and continue to be so much lighter after that. Key to reviews is how effective is the book's information. Personally facing a situation of being a long distance away from home for up to a year, I utilized the thetahealing technique from the book to manifest a job at home with my family. The results that occured in less than two weeks were a complete and total success. Since that time I have not only attended another basic class in which we cleared unconscious beliefs, but also experienced at least six sessions of thetahealing therapy to clear and replace personal negative unconscious beliefs with positive ones. The results are that I am calmer, happier, more confident, relaxed and patient. Learning to go into the theta brainwave state takes me into a deep state of altered consciousness(much more than alpha), and with it one can, as the author states, create at the molecular level. This technique can be used for healing, manifestation, and I believe lead to effective spiritual evolution. Bottom line, this book is a portal to instant tremendous, loving and powerful change which occurs through the utilization of the technique described in the book. It is life changing.

Lots of information to pass on, but a poor way of presenting it
I first got word of Theta Healing on a plane in one of those sky mall books in the back of the seats at the end of this past summer. When I arrived back home, I did some more research about the book and Vianna Stibal and decided to take a chance and try the book out. I wouldn't say that I was in a mid-life crisis (since I'm only 25), but I would say that I have had this feeling of being lost in life with no clear direction that I want to go in. As a result, I've been open to self-help and other kinds of helping guides in order to find something to get me back on track.Coming with that kind of attitude and starting with Theta Healing, I would say that the book really opened my mind to what is possible and out there than even before. And I thought I was open-minded, but this book really challenged my skepticism and willing to believe and just try.The book itself has a deluge of information, especially for someone like me who is very new this kind of psychic work, healing, chakras, reiki, etc. The information is very helpful and covers a broad range of topics, some of which I said in the sentence prior. My criticism (which led to my 3 star rating) is that the book is not very well organized, at times incoherent, and sometimes a chore to read through. My biggest gripe with the book would be the organization because there are many times while I was reading the book where I felt that techniques to achieve a theta state would be later in the book and the results of what can happen once you are in a theta state would be in earlier chapters. It's as if Vianna wanted to show you what is possible with this kind of mindset and belief, and then getting into the actual how to with more experiences and instruction scattered throughout. This leads to a lot of flipping back and forth among the chapters and searching for certain parts that are difficult to find leading to some frustration. All in all, I credit this book for starting down a path to realizing the power of energy, a focused state of mind, meditation, etc. It's not the clearest book on the subject, but if you're curious, it's not a bad read. You just need to be patient.

Excited and hopeful
This book was on my wishlist after I bumped into some review somewhere on healing modalities. I’m person who believes in healing and would love to become healer for helping people around me. So you can say that I attracted this book and ThetaHealing for myself.I’ve just read preface and first chapter (only 6 pages) and I already feel so happy and positive to look forward for reading and practicing Theta Healing myself.I’ve also ordered Author’s other books Wings of Prayer but I don’t which is correct order to read these books. But I’m still excited to read and heal myself and others around me.Will share more updates as and when I move ahead.

A step up from Reiki
As a reiki master I was interested to see what this is about. According to the book it delivers energy from the higher realms - call it God or whatever name you use. Similar to reiki and when I read some of it I realised that with some of the successful healings I have done that I had been doing a similar thing without knowing it. Vianna Stibal, who wrote the book, has had considerable success but really the patient being healed has to have some belief in the Great Spirit as the native Americans call him/her. Also the ego must take a back seat and we must realise that its not us who are the healers but God and I fully accept this. Reiki masters or practitioners should find the methods of meditation easy as we work with energy anyway, but this is a lot more involved.
