These arrived yesterday and I am very pleased with the machining on them... the chamfer is very clean and smooth. The window size is about a couple of mm smaller than a standard 9" x 6" print, which is ideal in providing just enough overlap to tape your 9" x 6" picture in place before adding a backing. Of course if you have printed 9" x 6" on an A4 size paper you need not worry about that as these are A4 size:-)I had previously bought a kit of 20 or so of these, plus 20 backing cards plus 20 sellophane warps - all A4 - from another supplier. To be fare, they were good, BUT it is far cheaper to buy the component parts individually and that is where I came across the Frame Company and bought these.NB: I have also been in contact with them about something and can say that their customer service was, quick and efficient.So, if the cat ran off with these, would I buy them again?Yes, definately... in truth, I will be buying again anyway for my photography business :-)EDIT: Updated: Indeed I have bought these again, in a bigger batch. They do the job very well and once assembled with a photo in place, backing card and in a cellophane wrap, they create an extrememly professional finish. And that is a comment from my customers, not just me!

First time I have ordered from this company . As a pro photographer presentation of work has to be of a high standard .I was amazed at the quality !! Sometimes you order something and it’s not quite as described. This company deliver more then described . Heavy mounts and boards , superb quality . Ordered forty more !!plus passed the link on to other photographers as they asked where they were from .shall not be using anyone else from now on , why should I ? If you find the best no need to .Very impressed with the whole service .

I was a little disappointed as I didn,t study the picture properly of the frames as I expected the sides to be the same size , so now I have had to use 2 mounts instead of just the one ,,I had to place the dark mount over the white one ,it turned out ok ,,Your frames are quite good ,,but it would be interesting to know if you make them the same size all around .

Terrible quality! They are so scruffy, the corners on most of them arrived damaged and bent, the cut in the corners of every single one are messy (you can see in the images there is a small cut into the mount itself on every corner. ) Even the cut itself along each inside edge is a mess, like the blade was blunt and it has simply been ragged through the card. I was going to use these for mounting paintings for sale, but might just use them as kindling for the log burner instead!Great for framing kids artwork or cheap photographs if you’re not bothered about general quality, but if you are after good quality mounts that look clean and professional then absolutely do not bother.

These are just a cardboard frame, just as in the picture. I got them to frame children's work on the wall. Perfect size for A4 drawings. Quite flimsy because they have no back.

I have to say I was very surprised by the fantastic quality of these mounts and backing boards. Very well packaged and will definitely be buying more.

Good value, bought for a craft fair and made my lino-cuts and collages look much more professional without having to frame everything. Much better than some others I'd bought last year that were unevenly cut and some were evn rough on the inside edges. These are cut perfectly. I would recommend.

We have made quite a few orders of these mounts - they have been good quality and are perfect for selling prints online and in local shops. The last order however is different - the card used is noticeably thinner than previous orders. It lacks the quality and isn't rigid enough - the whole pack was slightly bent, with two unusable. Sadly we will now have to start looking elsewhere.
