I tried cutting though them with my sharpest knife. They passed that test with flying colors. I mainly use them with my mandolin as I have had a couple of previous accidents. These are especially a good value as there are four gloves that can be used on either hand.

It's a great deal for two pair of sturdy protective work gloves. I haven't used them for shucking oysters (yet), but they inspire confidence and add a real layer of protection when working with my electric fish knife.

Doing pit beef and slicing while still on the fire, you have to cut quick, which sometimes is not the meat. These gloves are the ticket to self preservation. They work great, be sure to grab a couple pair. Great price and quick shipping.

Nothing to dislike. For the price, an excellent value. Cleaning fish or butchering wild game, no one likes to get cut. These gloves offer decent enough protection and don't really get in the way of the job at hand.

These gloves work well. They are lightweight so your dexterity isn't affected too much by using them. They are easy to throw in the wash for cleaning. I don't know that 2 pair are fully necessary... I could do just fine with one glove. I use it mainly when I use my mandoline so I don't have to use the safety shield which can be limiting

I haven't had the chance to use them much yet, but I do have a few observations to share. They seem sturdy and well-made. I trust that they will keep my hands safe when I use them. I believe that I should've bought medium size gloves rather than large, but that is definitely on me - not the product.

These came swiftly in the mail. Bought these for my husband, who processes wild game for the family. First thing I did, when I received these gloves, was put them on and take several knives to my hands in front of my husband. They worked great with straight and serrated knives! We are very pleased!!

Product is very well fitting and easy to keep clean- simple wash at the end of the day!
