I ordered 1 bottle from their marketing message for half off. Tried it, then ordered another off their buy one get one promotion they were running. Tested the Protein Powder over a 1 week period...I’ve never enjoyed protein powders - mainly because of the chalky taste. I am also lactose intolerant and have some strange reactions to Whey so all those other muscle builder powders are of no good use to me.This product had me curious - no dairy, chocolate (not my favorite flavor by a long shot), but I decided to try it out. As you can see by the picture I enjoy their other products.Taste: 5 out of 5It tastes just awesome. Mixed with 12oz of lactose free milk or just water, the taste doesn’t waver and that’s a huge factor for me.Mixability: 3 out of 5I use two types of shakers with either a wire or plastic ball inside to help mix the powder. I’m sure the blender would get it much smoother but for being on the run and no mixer in sight, it blends just good enough to be ok with some light grittiness at the bottom. Not overwhelming.Price: N/ASince I received these thru special promotional pricing I cannot comment on the actual retail price of the powder.Packaging: 3 out of 5I would really like to see this in a smaller bag container instead of a giant, space hogging plastic container. Or, if you’re going to use this giant container — FILL IT UP!Ingredients: 4 out of 5I have to research the ingredients a little more, but from a pure protein amount, 20g per serving is sufficient - and since there’s no adverse stomach issues with consuming, having more than one per day to satisfy your protein intake needs is doable. I’d also like to see size and flavor varieties. Vanilla and strawberry would be excellent.Overall I’m pleased with the product - no post-shake stomach issues. No chalky taste, no bad aftertaste. This powder is going to be my go-to protein supplement for a while.

I’ve been vegan for the past 5 years now and I have to say I’ve run into some hurdles when it comes to building muscle. The overall benefits are incredible and I rest easy at night knowing my contributions to a better planet but it still would be nice to put on another 5-10 pounds, you know? haha. I have been taking this companies Vegan BCAAs for years now and I love them for energy & recovery. Well upon seeing the release of their Vegan Protein I had to give it a shot. After some back & forth with the company (they are extremely helpful) I actually found out that their Muscle Builder qualifies as vegan and they are actually going to certify it officially later this year.Well, lucky me! The proposition of combing these vegan, genius products was very exciting but I’ve been stuck for along time so I didn’t want to get my hopes up. Spoiler Alert.. I could have! I started taking the protein by just itself for a week while I waited for my muscle builder to arrive and I saw an actual difference. Especially in squats and deadlifts. The weight just felt lighter! I got the muscle builder in & started with that too. At the end of the following week, I was up 3 solid pounds and weights had literally never been lighter. I found that if you mix the plant protein with the muscle builder it tastes kind of like a Napoleon ice cream shake. It’s very good actually and not being exposed to any creamy tastes in several years, I found this to be a really nice treat. I’m just finishing up both of the containers now & I’m realizing my goals. Genius has been a plateau buster for me and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to get stronger.

I saw someone comment on the “chalky” aspect of this and I just have to call that out! Yes the texture of the powder itself in the tub has a different sort of texture but I’m almost positive that’s how they get the creaminess into the product. I say this because it’s the only plant protein I’ve had with this texture and it’s the only plant protein I’ve had that has a creamy taste like this. It’s certified by the Vegan global organization or I might think I’m drinking dairy haha. I’m not a big gym goer so I can’t really attest to workout performance like some other users of the brands followers seem to get excited about but I will say I’ve been trying to lead a healthy active lifestyle and vegan strong checks all my boxes✅ You don’t have to gag it down✅ Its made with high quality ingredients from a brand that I really trust✅ It has a good nutritional mix of protein, healthy fats and relatively low carbs✅ Doesn’t cause bloating or water retention (I’m actually losing weight and i think this helps)It doesn’t take a genius.... 🤓😆 seriously though, this is a great product that has helped me live a much better lifestyle

I’ve been drinking Orgain for the past two years. I’ve had vega, I’ve had garden of life and countless others throughout my years as a vegan. They are all honestly more or less the same in-terms of taste… They have that chocolatey, earthy tone with a lot of grit. The grit is always my least favorite part by a lot and that’s why Orgain has been my go to brand but I’ve bounced around and tried quite a few of different ones.I’ve been using other genius products for awhile now so when I saw that they released a plant protein, I was definitely curious. When I saw them tout it as the best tasting plant protein then I decided I definitely needed to give it a shot. Just to temper peoples expectations, it’s a relatively similar actual taste when compared to the other mainstream ones but what they really nailed is the actual texture. It has a real element of creaminess that I just find absolutely delicious. It’s a game changer and that fact alone has got me to hit the subscription button and cancel my orgain orders.I also like the inclusion of healthy fats and the utilization of pumpkin seed as a protein source. I haven’t been let down by Genius yet and this one was no exception.
