Roland RPB-300 Piano Keyboard Bench, Adjustable Height 18.9-22.8-Inch, Rosewood

Always nice when a product exceeds your expectations. The bench was very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The only assembly required was attaching the 4 legs using the included nuts, bolts, flat washers & lock washers. Assembly took about 5 minutes. They even included an open end wrench, which was the only tool required.The bench itself is very sturdy and well made. Goes well with my Roland keyboard. The top of the bench is nicely padded and is comfortable to sit upon. The under seat storage is a useful feature. You will need to turn some of the larger music books lengthwise in order to fit, but the storage area is quite ample.All in all I am happy with this bench and would recommend it. I guess every review should include at least one negative, so be aware that there is a small "Roland" logo on the edge of the bench. This is fine if the bench is being used with the Roland keyboard, but some people may not like it if the bench is used in an application other than with the keyboard.Overall I really like this bench and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a well made piano bench.

I spent a long time looking around at different duet benches. It was difficult to find something I was happy with, but this one is awesome. The wood looks great in person and the whole thing looks and feels very polished. The knob mechanism is sturdy and worked fine. I wouldn't want to crank it up and down often for different people, but it works great to get the right height for you.

I had been shopping for a bench for a while and finally decided on this one because it was cheap but still well constructed. Assembly was a breeze. I did tighten the nuts for the legs while I was sitting on it. No wobble at all! Very sturdy. I was using a computer chair.. Should have made this purchase a long time ago. I almost got a duet size but once I saw how large it is I was glad I didn't.

While some of the directions for attaching the legs were a bit confusing, once assembled, this bench is extremely comfortable and sturdy. The seat cushion is thick dense foam, and the finish was near flawless.

Very sturdy and nice thick padding that is medium level of firmness. The dimensions listed are for the box. The top of the seating area is just shy of 30" wide x just shy of 14" deep. The dimensions listed are for the box. I don't see how two adults could play a duet on this or sit for a longer lesson. The black satin finished matched my Kawai CA98 perfectly. As for the height adjustment, I had zero problems adjusting. Some reviews said it was hard, but I found it simply to adjust and stayed in place. I only wanted this for myself, so I'm very happy with it, but if I had really needed a bench for two it would have gone back.

Mainly easy to assemble, except for the part with adjusting the legs to prevent wobbling. You really need a 2nd person to help sit at the corners to while you adjust.Once assembled, it's a really nice bench.

The quality of the cushion and wood are nice, but the small metal arm for the opening of the top is very short (you can only open the lid about 30 degrees) and the rivet sheared off when I opened it the first time. I can machine a replacement, but most folks probably wouldn't want to have to do that.

The perfect piano bench. Ample padding. Firm. Sturdy. It comes with a wrench for assembly but I used my rachet and a 9/16 socket! Love it. Now I have to learn to play the piano...

Nice looking bench and comfortable to sit on. But don't expect to store any music books. The depth of the bench is deceiving. You might get a few pieces of sheet music in the bench but that's about it. The mechanism to lower and raise the seat takes up all the room.
