Great buy but seller is selling at a loss when one considers postage costs.
What can one say?... It comes loaded with £5.00 credit - so what do you want for a penny? Perfect gift - however, on the downside, you need to register first and top up before you get the £5.00 pre-loaded credit but having said that, the online account and community support are second to none. I am really pleased I switched over.Once I signed up, I loaded £10.00 by my MasterCard and it purchased a goody-bag for £10.00 which gives 6GB of 4G data and unlimited texts and minutes for one month, which is really great value but be careful as it then asked me to top up again, so as I thought it did not work the first time, I did it again, so I ended up with my £10.00 goody-bag plus £15.00 credit - (including the £5.00 welcome gift) but it does not matter, I can purchase my next goodybag with it - in fact I stuck another tenner on it, so I have £25.00 credit so next months goodybag is sorted.The only downside is, I transferred my usual number to giffgaff and it is going to take 24 hours, it is easy enough done but if one tries to carry out any financial errands in the meantime and it asks you to confirm your mobile - you can't as you are stuck with an 'unknown' number for 24 hours but if you give it time, it will work, believe me, my smartphone was going nuts until the changeover was completed.It is all sorted out, I am be more than happy as their plans are better than any other PAYG mobile provider, even if you are simply using a secondary mobile.Plus, if you order extra sims and pass them on to friends or family, they get £10.00 free credit and you get £5.00 - so that is definitely well worth it.Really, you have nothing to lose? Plus, you can top up via a voucher or PayPal if you prefer. Thumbs UP!

Pretty good value
Giffgaff offers good value mobile service at very reasonable prices.Alas, in the case of problems, their customer service is atrocious - but that's not an issue if you don't need to use it!The other point to note with these SIMs is the need to top up by £10 before the advertised 'free' £5 becomes available to your account.They are 'multi' SIMs so they can be used in any device taking a normal, micro or nano SIM.

Great Value
Given this 5 stars, even though I haven’t used it yet as you need to top up to get the free credit. I am waiting until my current sim runs out before using this one. Arrived quickly, easy to set up a giffgaff account online.

Mine didn’t work
A real run-around with Giffgaff tech support. The SIM doesn’t show up in any phone I’ve tried. You have to make a purchase to activate, so now the clock is running on my plan, but I still can’t make or receive calls or messages. The whole thing has proved to be pointless.

I got one of these for someone who wanted to start using their new mobile phone whilst looking for the best contract for it. Fantastic value and worked immediately. Does what it says.
