These drill bits are great for removing the bulk off of a nail. I mainly use these when I'm removing gel extensions. They don't take too much off in one go, which leaves more room for mistakes. They work well with my drill and are easy to maneuver around the nail. The thinner one is great for going around the cuticle area to blend in the extension. They're both easy to clean and came ready to use.

There are a few different shapes of bits to choose from- they each do something specific, so make sure your choosing the right option at checkout so that you dont get something different than the ones you are expecting.I chose the shape, point coarse bit option because of the 2 specific bits it includes- the long thin pointy one is specifically designed for cleaning cuticle areas, and then the big barrel bit is for shaping and de-bulking fresh new acrylic. What made me choose this product over other similar products is that the big barrel bit here has the rounded, smooth end to it. Its more of a safety bit, and is much more comfortable and safe to use because it wont cut your skin.Im very happy with how they work- they are standard sized bits that fit easily in all of my different nail drills, they are perfect

As for acrylic nails. The larger burring bit can be quite aggressive bit with steadied hands and fastest speed, the work is quite easy. My wife wound up not using the larger burr as much but like the smaller bit for better reach and control.I watched how she used it and it made the job cleaning up the edges easily. I had the 'pleasure' of helping round out her nails on her feet to prevent it being ingrown. Those edges angle down into her cuticles fairly deep.I took the liberty to add the tungsten carbide burr and add it to my Dremel collection and its exacly like the others I have. In fact I was able to open up a hole in 18G brass sheet with ease with that same burring bit.I'm sure with practice the burr will do well. For the type of material it is and to only be used on nails, this thing would last several lifetimes or when you misplace it.Price isnt bad at all for what it is whether a garage tool, crafting tool or manicuring tool.
